A couple of years ago, I was on Netflix waiting for a couple of movies to start. I was watching one when a guy on the screen asked me what I was watching on it. I told him, “A couple of yify movies.” He asked me if I minded if he watched them on the channel, too.
“Of course not,” I told him. “I know you want the movies, but I want you to watch them yourself.” He looked at me strangely for a moment. “You don’t mind,” he said. I guess he thought I was being weird, so I said sure and he watched them.
He was a regular on the channel. The channel is Yify Movies, which I believe is the name of the site. Apparently the Yify Movies channel has a couple of TV shows, movies, and music that are basically Yify Movies. There isn’t any specific content. Just random music from bands you probably wouldn’t enjoy. The channels have different names on different platforms. Some people like to watch only Yify Movies.
A lot of people are in the Yify Movies channel because they like the music posted there. I think the Yify Movies channel is mainly seen as a way to get their movies uploaded onto YouTube.
I think I had an interesting conversation the other day when I was trying to decide how to do a post on Yify Movies. What if I actually had a Yify Movies channel that focused just on music? Then I would really be able to see all the great music that came from all the shows. Maybe I will start that. I really wish they had a channel where I could see all the music and movies I like, but for now I just use my YouTube channel.
In a weird way, I think Yify Movies is a good idea. It’s a way to get your music and movies onto YouTube. We are the ‘net, and we are all connected. If I am a musician, I would love to see all of the music I create. If I am a filmmaker, I’d like to see all of the movies I make. If I am a video gamer, I’d like to see all of the games I play. Our net is awesome.
The first problem is that it’s a bit awkward to get music onto the web. It’s easy to get your music onto my iPod, but it’s hard to get onto my computer. YouTube is a good way to distribute music, but it doesn’t allow for the same level of control. The second problem is that there’s no way for me to have full control of what music I download onto my computer, and it’s not really something I’d want to do anyway.
If you’re like me, you probably want your computer to play music that is on your iPod, but you dont want any music that is not currently on your computer. Well, if you have a broadband internet connection, you can get your music onto your computer, but only if you dont have an active internet connection. Thats the issue.
If youre a hardcore gamer, then maybe that is probably the problem.
