To clarify, I am not talking about a purge of the entertainment industry. I am talking about the purge of media, particularly the entertainment industry. I am talking about all of the advertisements that are so prevalent in our society that it might as well be a religion. It’s like religion for advertising.
There is a real problem, though, that is not confined to the entertainment business. It is not just the fact that advertisers are able to get away with these ads, but the fact that many of these ads are actually false. We are bombarded with so many seemingly true ads, but in reality they are just marketing hype.
