I love it! I’ve had a lot of movies like lolita. I never thought I would be obsessed with the world of movie stuff, but this is the world of movies.
Lolita, or literally “lol” as in “lolita” and “ita” as in “a girl with a long nose” is a cult in Japan that I stumbled on via Netflix’s recent release of The Secret of Blue Water. The film is actually an adaptation of a short story by Japanese writer and artist Katsuhiro Otomo, and is also known for its surreal and beautiful shots.
Lolita is an anime that is a long lost cousin to the anime classic One-Punch Man. It’s a sort of love story, in which a girl named Lolita falls in love with a man named Hidetora, which is a reference to Hideo Kojima’s One-Punch Man. Like One-Punch Man, Lolita is a character that the audience knows is coming but is still waiting for her.

The third episode is called “The Illusion of Lolita” and is even better than the anime.
I have to wonder if these are the only movies that will get made now that its been announced that Lolita is going to be a movie. It looks like it will be the biggest movie ever and im sure itll change the world.

Unfortunately, it looks like it won’t be making it to theaters anytime soon, but if it takes off, I’ll probably see it again and again.
