In fact, the film takes place at his home, which has no electricity or running water. Johnston decides to stop his life as a filmmaker and goes to work as a janitor.
The movie is a little on the violent side. For instance, it has a scene where a janitor accidentally shoots a man because he didn’t pay attention to his keys. The janitor goes to jail.
