“Bear Grylls” The man behind “Man vs wild” Set to bring “WORLD’S TOUGHEST RACE” TO OTT world

All of us are familiar with Bear Grylls. He is a prominent figure in the world of outdoor adventures and survival.

He was trained in martial arts from a very young age and had spent three years as a soldier in the British Special Forces.

It was here that he acquired and perfected his survival skills that people all over the world enjoy.

Bear Grylls was one man who could never be disheartened.

Despite having several accidents that even lead to him breaking his back, he went on to become one of the youngest people to reach the summit of Mount Everest.

His TV series Man v/s Wild became one of the most-watched shows on the planet, reaching an estimated 1.2 billion viewers.

It was a survival show where he was always dropped in hostile conditions and he had to survive by eating and drinking whatever he could find; which could be wild animals and sometimes is own urine.

After years of hosting the show which was aired on Discovery Channel, he got fired by them over contractual disputes and as a result, the show was canceled.

Bear Grylls in WORLD’S TOUGHEST RACE: ECO-CHALLENGE FIJI.

Bear Grylls is now going to host a brand new reality competition series “World’s Toughest Race: Eco-Challenge Fiji”.

This adventure series is going to have 10 episodes of expedition race. In this, there are going to be 66 teams from 30 different countries.

These teams are going to race for 11 days non-stop, 24 hours a day, and across hundreds and hundreds of miles of rugged Fiji terrain and this is going to cover oceans, mountains, and jungles.

The show was filmed last year in Fiji.

The 300 competitors are going to be forming teams of 5, which is going to include 4 racers and an assistant crew member.

The makers of the show test the physical and mental endurance of the competitors and how long they will be able to hold under such immense pressure.

From India, Team Khukuri is the first team to join the Eco-challenge. The team is led by Tashi Malik and Nungshi Malik, twins.

They are going to be joined by their father who was a colonel in the Indian Army. He is a doctor and an expert in skiing, rafting, and mountain climbing.

The show will be premiering on August 14 in Amazon Prime and we cannot be more excited to see what Bear Grylls and the others have in store for us.
